THE MUSICAL
Synopsis
Morgan Le Fay is the step sister of King Arthur, but is bitter on where she stands in the order of the court. She has not yet realized her full potential. Morgan has magical ability and has learned from Merlin the magician, but she has a grudge against the King and thinks she should rule. She believes a woman should get a seat at the table. Her plan is to make Arthur look like a coward so she can take over.
Gawain is a young Knight in King Arthur's court; as the nephew of the King he has a position but no credibility. He takes on a dangerous quest crafted by Morgan Le Fay to make a name for himself. Gawain steps in to take the challenge and seems to ruin Morgan Le Fay’s plan but both Morgan and Gawain find themselves in the process and show Camelot what they can do.
THE FACTS
This story is a remix of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Le Morte D’Arthur, and the Canterbury Tales making medieval texts accessible and hip. The story unfolds multiple perspectives out of Camelot and has feminism, toxic masculinity, and social acceptance in the core of its message. This work has no production history but is currently in development through Theatre Now New York's National Musical Lab.

We are also submitting this project to other development opportunities as well as additional projects that we are writing and composing.

We will see you on Broadway! That is the goal.
